Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering 2016, Volume 10, Issue 4,   Pages 456-461 doi: 10.1007/s11709-016-0334-1

Abstract: The relationship between the convexity on the ultimate bearing surface of a structure and the second-orderwhen the Hessian matrix composed of the second-order partial derivatives on the hypersurface about the ultimatebearing of the structure is negative definite. The outward convexity is kept when the surface is expressed by certain dimensionless parameters.on the basis of several points on the surface of the ultimate bearing of the structure.

Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering 2006, Volume 1, Issue 3,   Pages 270-275 doi: 10.1007/s11465-006-0028-9

Abstract: To analyze the effects of non-Newtonian lubricants and surface roughness in journal bearing lubricationFlow factors are used to specify the effect of surface roughness.Surface roughness shows an obvious effect on load capacity when it is greater than one-tenth of the filmthickness, and the surface with longitudinal pattern affects the load capacity most. However, surface roughness has less effect on lubrication results than lubricants non-Newtonian property
